About FireShield Ireland

FireShield Ireland is a specialist passive fire protection and spray fireproofing contractor based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. We carry out Monokote spray fireproofing, intumescent coatings, structural steel fireproofing, and passive fire protection for commercial and industrial buildings across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We are part of the Conmor Contracts group of specialist contractors, which has been operating across Ireland for over 30 years.

FireShield Ireland holds the Irish rights for Monokote, the market-leading spray-applied fireproofing product for structural steelwork. We are the only licensed Monokote applicator in Ireland. Any commercial project in Ireland specifying Monokote is carried out by our team.

This is a straightforward differentiator. Architects and engineers who specify Monokote on a project in Ireland have one option for the application. That is FireShield Ireland.

We work on commercial and industrial construction projects of all scales. Typical projects include offices, schools, hospitals, retail developments, apartment buildings, warehouses, and industrial units. We engage at all stages of a project, from early-stage specification advice through to installation and final handover documentation.

We work directly with building owners and developers, and as a specialist subcontractor within main contractor structures on larger projects. We provide all required documentation for building control sign-off including fire resistance calculations, product certification, method statements, and installation records.

All materials used by FireShield Ireland carry the appropriate product certification for their intended application. We provide full documentation confirming product specification and installation compliance for every project. Our team is trained in the application of all systems we install and we carry appropriate insurance for all work we undertake.

We cover all 32 counties of Ireland and throughout Northern Ireland. Our base in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, gives us straightforward access to Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Derry, and all major commercial construction markets on the island.
